| 1- Actually, bagasse board is one type particle board, but particle board is not bagasse board. Particle board can be made by wood, bagasse, reed, rice straw and cutton straw, etc. Different material for particle board, it can influence the strongth for particle board. |

| 2- Bagasse board is especially poppular in Bangladesh and India, where is rich for sugarcane. Compare to wood based particle board, bagasse board is much more cheap, light weight. But, wood based particle board is much more strong but heavy. |
| 3- Bagasse has similar structure to particle board, both have three layers, inner layer, two face layers. |
| 4- Bagasse board is same production process with wood based particle board, both of them have to be made to small piece, then drying, glue mixing, forming, hot pressing, and sanding. |

| Some people think bagasse can make MDF board ( as bagasse board is also called LDF- Low Density Fiber Board ) , strictly speeaking, bagasse baord is not blong to fiber board, bagasse can not make the fiber. it just like dust when bagasse put in the fiber refiner. MDF technology is similar to paper making, have to make fiber first. Only has fiber can called fiber baord ( MDF/ HDF ) |
